A Gathering of Dwarfs is a really fun read, and I laughed out loud more than once while reading it! Once Snow White is carried off by Prince Charming, the dwarfs are free to pursue their own adventures and they do. Each dwarf has his or her (yes, two are women!) own chapter that could be read as a standalone short story. The last few paragraphs of each dwarf’s story ties them all together through the appearance of a mysterious hooded man who invites each one to a secret meeting and an opportunity that will be revealed to them there. The wicked queen, the magic mirror, a very funny talking crossbow, and more than one monster and wizard romp through the pages of Seven Dwarfs and give the reader a grand old time!
